Fire Safety Officer Refresher Training LEVEL 1

The refresher course Fire Safety Officers - Level 1_AGG is aimed at workers who are part of the emergency team in a workplace classified as Low Fire Risk.

Already trained Fire Safety Officers must attend specific refresher courses according to DM 2/9/2021, which outlines three training levels: 1_AGG (formerly Low Risk), 2_AGG (formerly Medium Risk), 3_AGG (formerly High Risk).

The determination of the risk level, which allows for identifying the most appropriate course for emergency team members, stems from the fire risk analysis conducted by the Employer (DdL) together with their consultants, including the Head of the Prevention and Protection Service (RSPP), also taking into account the provisions of points 3.2.2, 3.2.3, and 3.2.4 of Annex III of DM 2/9/2021.

Our fire safety refresher courses cover the content outlined in Annex III of DM 2/9/2021, including, in addition to a theoretical part, a practical exercise in extinguishing a small fire using extinguishers.

Upon completion of the course, a Fire Safety Officer - Level 1_AGG certificate will be issued. The certificate is valid for five years, after which further refresher training will be required.

TARGET AUDIENCE

The course is intended for members of fire emergency teams in workplaces classified as Level 1 (formerly Low Risk) according to DM 2/9/2021, such as:

• workplaces not included in the list of those classified as Level 2 or 3 and, in general, where the substances present and operating conditions offer little possibility of fire outbreaks and where there is no likelihood of flame propagation.

PROGRAM

1) PRACTICAL EXERCISES

• Review of surveillance measures for fire safety systems, equipment, and installations;
• clarifications on portable extinguishers;
• practical exercises on the use of portable extinguishers;
• review of the fire safety register and surveillance measures for fire safety systems, equipment, and installations;
• exercise related to surveillance activities.
