General Worker Training

Article 37, paragraphs 1 and 2 of Legislative Decree 81/2008 establish the obligation for all workers to receive training on workplace safety. The State-Regions Agreement of 21/12/2011, in detailing the methods for providing such training, stipulates that each worker must receive general training and specific training on the risks characteristic of their particular activity.

The same Agreement stipulates that general training can be delivered via e-learning.

This course, lasting no less than 4 hours, will cover the following topics in its various training modules: concepts of risk, harm, prevention, protection, organization of company prevention, rights, duties, and penalties for various company stakeholders, and supervisory, control, and assistance bodies.

RENEWAL

The course covers general safety topics and is common to all work disciplines. For this reason, once a person completes this course, they are not required to undergo refresher training, as the knowledge acquired is considered assimilated by the worker, even if they change roles or jobs.

COURSE TRAINING CONTENT

The course covers the following topics:

• Concepts of risk, harm, prevention, protection;
• Organization of company prevention;
• Rights, duties, and penalties for various company stakeholders;
• Supervisory, control, and assistance bodies.

The course includes intermediate tests to verify understanding of the topics covered.
