Specific Worker Training (MEDIUM Risk)

Article 37, paragraphs 1 and 2 of Legislative Decree 81/2008 establish the obligation for all workers to receive workplace safety training. The State-Regions Agreement of 17/04/2025, in detailing the methods for providing such training, stipulates that each worker must receive general training and specific training on the risks characteristic of their activity.

Unlike Specific Worker Training (Low Risk), Medium Risk training can only be conducted in-person.

RENEWAL

Unlike General Worker Training, Specific Training must be updated every five years.

COURSE CONTENT

The course covers the following topics, with specific in-depth analysis of the activities performed by the worker:

• Accident risks, general mechanical risks, electrical risks, equipment, microclimate, and lighting;
• Chemical risk;
• Work organization and work environments, work-related stress;
• Risks associated with the use of video terminals and manual handling of loads;
• Safety signage, evacuation and emergency procedures in case of fire;
• Organizational procedures for first aid;
• Incidents and near misses;
• Physical risks: noise, mechanical vibrations, artificial optical radiation (AOR), electromagnetic fields (EMF);
• Manual handling of loads;
• Goods handling (lifting equipment and transport vehicles);
• Biological risk and safety measures.

The course includes a final test to verify understanding of the topics covered.
