RLS Training (In-person)
The Company Workers' Safety Representative (RLS) is a figure to whom the legislator has given particular importance. Through their RLS, workers participate in safety management processes and in identifying prevention and protection measures.
In compliance with Article 37, paragraphs 10 and 11 of Legislative Decree 81/2008, the RLS must receive initial training lasting no less than 32 hours.
RECIPIENTS
The course is intended for Workers' Safety Representatives who have been duly elected.
Following the entry into force of the State-Regions Agreement of July 7, 2016, this course is valid in e-learning mode if provided for in the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) applied to the worker.
In all other cases where the CCNL does not provide for online RLS training, the worker must complete the course in person.
RENEWAL
RLS training requires three different renewal methods based on the number of employees in the company:
- Companies with up to 15 employees: update duration not specified by regulations;
- Companies with 15 to 50 employees: 4-hour annual update;
- Companies with over 50 employees: 8-hour annual update.

- Presidential Decree 177/2011. Safety in confined spaces and potentially contaminated environments;
- Worker training;
- Training for employers acting as RSPP;
- Training for the use of special equipment;
- The employer, the manager, and non-delegable duties;
- Delegable duties;
- The prevention and protection service and its head;
- The occupational health physician and health surveillance;
- The emergency management service;
- Designers, manufacturers, suppliers, and installers;
- The workers' safety representative;
- Workers and their duties;
